Job Description

Clinical is looking to add a Referencing Specialist 1 to the team! The Referencing Specialist 1 is responsible for conducting reference and work history checks, license and credential verification.

Duties Include:

  1. Conducts and records references, obtains and updates work history to include facility bed size, hospital type and updates work history on profiles as needed;
    2. Checks license and credential verification on applicants.
    3. Review all new applicants for disciplinary items; present to QA Review as needed.
    4. Obtain updated references and assignment evaluations on active travelers.
    5. Obtain references and update files during the application review process; assure file is compliant with established standards and/or clarification and review is obtained as indicated.

Qualified candidates will have high school diploma or GED with education or personal computer experience with word processing and spreadsheet software applications, Internet and excellent typing skills required. Must have six months to one year of general office experience.
