About Adriana

Professional Background:

I come from a strong people-focused and relationship-driven background. I’m a small business owner (Groovehive Market), where I plan and run community events, manage and curate vendors, host live music, and handle everything from outreach to logistics. Through doing this work, I’ve built a style that is very personal, intentional, and direct, focusing on making the right connections and matching people with the right opportunities. My business has been featured in local newspapers, publications, and news outlets, which has given me experience in promotion, storytelling, and building a brand that resonates with the community.

What Do You Love—or Get Most Excited About—In Recruitment?

I love the moment when something just clicks for someone! Whether it’s a job they didn’t think they would get or an opportunity they didn’t even know existed. I like getting to know people beyond just a resume and figuring out what actually matters to them. I also enjoy the pace. Every day is different, and there is always something new going on. Building real/solid relationships is a big thing for me, too. I want people to feel comfortable being honest with me and know I’m always in their corner!

Do You Have Any Personal Connections to Nursing or Allied Health?

I don’t have a clinical background myself, but through recruiting, I’ve built relationships with clinicians and have learned a lot from them. Hearing their experiences, what they deal with day-to-day, and what they need from a recruiter has helped me better understand how to support/advocate for them.

What Does the Nursing/Allied Industry Mean to You?

To me, it is a field that takes a lot of strength, dedication, and care. These are people showing up for others every day, often in stressful situations, and that is not something I take lightly. I see my role as supporting/advocating for them in a real way by being honest and reliable, and by helping them find opportunities that actually complement their lives rather than complicate them!

Personal Background:

Originally from Chicago, but now based in the Tampa Bay area, I’m a mom to twin girls, a dog mom to a Chiweenie named Herbie, and an Australian Cattle Dog named Cormac; so life is definitely busy but in the best way! I love vintage shopping, making art, thrifting, and anything with history behind it. I’m always drawn to unique pieces and stories. A lot of my time also goes into building my market and being involved in local community/outreach, especially working hand in hand with creatives and other small businesses.
