About Chad
Professional Background:
I have 20+ years of experience in healthcare staffing recruitment, with a track record as a top performer both as an individual contributor and as a leader. I received an Innovation Award at a previous employer, and I’ve also trained and promoted recruiters into leadership roles within per diem staffing.
What Do You Love—or Get Most Excited About—In Recruitment?
What I love most is helping people find the right job so they can take care of their families and reach their own goals. I also really value the long-term relationships I build with people throughout my career in this industry; those connections are what keep me motivated after 20+ years in healthcare staffing recruitment.
Do You Have Any Personal Connections to Nursing or Allied Health?
Yes, healthcare runs deep in my life. My mom, aunt, and sisters are all healthcare workers, and several of my closest friends are doctors. Being surrounded by healthcare professionals has given me a real appreciation for the work they do and the impact the right placement can have on someone’s life.
What Does the Nursing/Allied Industry Mean to You?
To me, this industry means I get to play a small but meaningful role in people’s healing. By connecting healthcare facilities with great, caring staff, I’m helping make sure patients and their families have the support they need during some of the most uncertain and difficult times in their lives.
Nurse Appreciation Stories and Special Shout-Outs:
When my daughter was born, she spent a week in the NICU learning how to eat on her own. My wife and I were terrified, but the NICU nurses and RT staff were incredible, so careful, patient, and loving with her, and so reassuring with us. They made us feel like everything would be okay during one of the scariest weeks of our lives. That experience stuck with me, and it’s part of why I take this work so personally. I know firsthand what it means to have the right people caring for your family when you need it most.
Personal Background:
I was born in Jamaica and grew up in Queens, NY, where I became a lifelong New York Giants fan. I now live in LA with my wife and our two kids, an 11-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. My favorite thing to do outside of work is travel with my family, especially on island vacations.
