Do You Have Any Personal Connections to Nursing or Allied Health?

I graduated from a University where the #1 major was nursing, so I have been surrounded by friends who are nurses and are in related allied fields for years. Several of them went into traveling soon after graduating, and I’ve had the pleasure of watching their adventures unfold through the years!

What Does the Nursing/Allied Industry Mean to You?

When I entered the field, the allied industry appealed to me because not only was I pregnant and seeing my Ultrasound Tech regularly for a high-risk pregnancy at the time, but I had been through Physical Therapy before and strongly believed some of these specialties were extremely undervalued in the medical field. I loved the idea of providing my services to travelers in those specialties that are not commonly thought about.

Personal Background:

While a born-and-raised Wisconsinite, I have also lived in Argentina and Texas, and now reside in North Carolina with my husband and two young kids. Hobbies include anything to do with water, hiking, and traveling!
