Professional Background:

I have been in healthcare recruiting for the last year and a half. My background prior to that was in athletics. I spent the 4 years before TotalMed with an athletic recruiting agency that helped high school prospects land scholarships. Before that, I spent 8 years coaching high school and college football, where recruiting is the lifeline for both.

What Do You Love—or Get Most Excited About—In Recruitment?

I love working with first-time travelers and helping them feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. I especially enjoy their excitement when they land their first assignment.

Do You Have Any Personal Connections to Nursing or Allied Health?

I have close friends and family members who are nurses.

What Does the Nursing/Allied Industry Mean to You?

The industry is a good example of how someone can care for and pour into another person when that person is at their lowest.

Nurse Appreciation Stories and Special Shout-Outs:

My dad was admitted to the hospital a few years ago. We didn’t know what the issue was, so my mom and I were very stressed and concerned. I just remember that the nurses caring for him were very calming and communicated very well with us. They made the experience much more bearable.

Personal Background:

I’m a Floridian through and through. I have spent my entire life living by the beach. I thrive around any kind of water, and I love to cook and travel, doing both with my friends and family.
