Travel Nurse Recruiter | Turning “I’ve always wanted to live there” into plane tickets and paychecks!
For the last few years, I’ve had the best job on earth: matching incredible nurses with 13-week (or longer) adventures across the country. One day, I’m helping an ICU nurse land her dream assignment in Wisconsin, the next, I’m getting a Labor & Delivery rockstar a contract in Denver with housing and the kind of stipend that makes student loans cry. I live for the moment a traveler texts me, “I just extended… again” or sends a photo from the beach after their shift.”

Nurse Appreciation Stories and Special Shout-Outs:
Tough question, all of my caregivers are great! Yeqarah Hillsman comes to mind. Not only is she an amazing nurse, but she has also become a great friend of mine. Often our quick phone calls turn into hour-long catch-ups – She sees me as a person and not just another recruiter. We have similar views on things, and a rough day can turn into a good one after speaking to her. Also, my Banner girls are incredible! Banner can be beautifully chaotic at times, and they’re amazing and always so patient! Jonathan and Allison Bigaouette are my POWER COUPLE. They sail 6 months out of the year, so I only get them during the summer. We have formed an awesome friendship in the last few years, and I look forward to all their warm, beach pictures during the winter months! Kerri Gasper was a friend I had in college who is now a traveler of mine, and I love her – such a full circle moment! Kathryn Anderson, Samantha Williams, Taylor Martin, Amanda Shelley, Mackenzie Fetter, Celeste Wissenbach, Brandy Jones, and Samantha Williams are my girlies!! Always so sweet and personable! Mackenzie Isome has been with me for over 2 years, and we live in the same city! She gets the most incredible reviews – she’s the L&D nurse you want caring for you, she’s even been nominated for a Daisy award after only being at the facility for a few weeks! Angela Kirby is a huge Dukes of Hazard car enthusiast. She makes my day by sending pictures of all the cool events she goes to on weekends! Shane Terry is from my hometown, and we bonded over just chatting about the good old city of Newburgh, Indiana! Chinique Joe – Franklin – that’s my girl!! She stuck with me when the market just wouldn’t give us the time of day, but as luck would have it, got three interviews in a week and is now CRUSHING her first travel assignment!! 3/4 of my nurses have been with me for a while now, and the trust they put in me every day makes me feel so incredibly lucky. I feel like each one of my nurses is an actual friend of mine, and our relationships go far beyond the job! I could take all day about my caregivers (:
Personal Background
When I’m not on the phone convincing someone to take the California contract of their dreams, you can find me outside with my Yorkie Cooper, blasting a playlist that jumps from country to house, or unwinding with a true-crime documentary.
Say hi if you like dogs, good music, and people who genuinely love what they do. Bonus points if you’ve ever worked a travel contract… I’ll know all the best spots in whatever city you’re headed to next.
