About Reece

Professional Background:

I have been a travel nurse recruiter for 10 years and have over 100 Great Recruiter reviews!

What Do You Love—or Get Most Excited About—In Recruitment?

I enjoy building connections and making nurses happy by getting them contracts they are excited about! The number of nurses I have worked with who have met the love of their spouse on contract and/or saved enough money for something they are working towards is A LOT. Getting to hear about stuff like this is rewarding, all while helping hospitals stay adequately staffed!

What Does the Nursing/Allied Industry Mean to You?

I have learned a ton about nursing over the past decade of my life. The thing that stands out the most is just how vital and essential nurses are. They are the glue/foundation to how the hospital system runs. When my wife was in labor, I had firsthand experience working with the labor and delivery nurses, and they were everything to my wife and me during that experience! We only had the doctor in our room for maybe 10 minutes right at delivery. This experience was eye-opening, seeing everything a nurse can be for a patient and the impact they can make for someone needing to be hospitalized. Nurses sometimes don’t get enough credit!

Personal Background:

I am a very easy-going social person who doesn’t take life too seriously. I believe that, on most days, our perspective shapes our reality, and I try to focus on the things I am grateful for in life! I really enjoy spending time with loved ones, family, and friends. Being out in nature and staying active fuels my spirit. I am a washed-up ex-college basketball player with sore knees who has resorted to playing golf to scratch my competitive sports itch, haha. I am married to my wife, Jenna, and we have a son, Weston, together. So, in my free time when I am not working, I spend most of my time being a dad and husband, which I love!

Reece was amazing to work with. He was extremely attentive from the first day of contact to the first day of my assignment. The process went smoothly, all my questions were answered quickly, and you can tell he cares about what he does for nurses!
