Informed and Empowered: Why Transparency Comes First at TNAA
In the healthcare industry, transparency plays a crucial role in fostering trust, building strong relationships, and promoting fair practices. At TNAA, transparency is part of our first core value: owning our relationships by engaging others with clarity, transparency, and care. Transparency is also at the heart of our operations – especially when it comes to our job openings and your pay. You want to be informed and empowered to make the right assignment decision, and we are here to provide you with the information you need to decide.
Transparent Job Opportunities
You might hear that some agencies post ‘fake jobs’ in hopes of getting travelers interested in their offerings. Whether it’s a fake job or an old posting that’s been up for months, we stand against it. You don’t want to waste your time chasing after unavailable jobs. We’re here to provide you with comprehensive information about your job opportunities right from the start. We have constant real-time updates on job postings with a full status check nightly.
Beyond the job posting, your recruiter will be your greatest advocate as you decide on where to submit your resume. They will be a pro at guiding you to jobs at hospitals that align with your career goals and will steer you away from those that don’t match. They’ll be transparent with you about the travel market and the jobs you’re interested in pursuing and will steer you toward traveler-friendly opportunities.
“We are going to work as a team to help them get to the assignment that is best suited for their financial goals, their exploration goals, and just to help further their career and make sure that they have the best experience,” explained Amanda McCartney, a Sr. Recruiting Specialist at TNAA.
Transparent Pay Packages
There’s no time for games when it comes to your pay. We’re committed to ensuring TNAA travel nurses and allied travelers are aware of their pay and all the elements that make up the compensation package. Here’s how we do it.
First, as you’re browsing jobs on TNAA’s website and looking at pay, you can rest assured the rate you see is not inflated. The number posted on the website reflects what a tax-compliant traveler would make, including per diems and incidentals. We strive to be accurate from the start and don’t embellish rates so that you have a more accurate idea of which jobs you’d like to pursue.
Then, for each assignment you’re interested in taking, you’ll get an Assignment Benefits Summary that breaks down your hourly rate, reimbursements, federal and state tax, per diems, premiums for overtime or night shifts, and more line by line. Many agencies provide misleading initial paycheck estimates, but not TNAA. We go the extra mile to make sure you know what you will see on your paycheck without getting the runaround so you can make informed decisions based on your financial goals and preferences.
“I personally think this level of transparency is one of the many things that sets us apart from other agencies,” said Nick Garcia, Sr. Recruitment Manager at TNAA. “We want you to know before even submitting to a position exactly what your pay looks like.”
If you have questions regarding your pay, just ask your recruiter or payroll specialist for your assignment. They will be more than happy to help!
