The emotional burden of working in the healthcare industry is real. But, as a traveler, you might not realize the mental health benefits you can access – even if you don’t choose agency-provided insurance. No matter your scenario, know that TNAA has you covered.
Travelers who are on TNAA’s insurance plan have access to several mental well-being resources through Cigna. The best part? Your insurance coverage starts on your first day. That’s right – there’s no waiting period with TNAA. So, have peace of mind knowing you can quickly get the care you need.
You can read our entire benefits guide here.
TNAA’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is entirely free for all our travelers and corporate staff. Anyone in your household can receive help through the EAP at no cost, and you don’t need to have TNAA’s insurance to access this benefit.
Our Employee Assistance Program acts as a concierge for support, resources and information. It aims to help you and the members of your household resolve any number of problems, such as personal, professional, financial, familial, legal and substance abuse issues.
Some of the mental health resources offered through our EAP include free and confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals and other services.

As an extension of our TNAA staff, we offer our travelers support through the Chaplain Assistance Program, a partnership with Corporate Chaplains of America.
Whether it’s a personal life issue or you’re struggling with grief and trauma from work, Chaplain Angela is a shoulder to lean on, a source of nondenominational spiritual care, or simply a listening ear.

TNAA’s RN-led Clinical Department works to make sure our travelers have what they need to be successful, from onboarding to career coaching. They also offer professional and emotional support.
As travelers themselves, our clinical directors can empathize with your struggles. So, if you want to talk to people who genuinely understand what it’s like on the floor, reach out!
